I'm a children's writer based in Glasgow. I studied at the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow. I was awarded the Mairi Hedderwick Writing for Children Bursary from Moniack Mhor in 2015 and was Children's Writer in Residence at Wigtown Book Festival the same year. My first children's book, The Girl Who Lost Her Shadow, won the Kelpies Prize for new Scottish children's writing in 2017.

I live in Glasgow where I work at Glasgow Women's Library and spends the rest of my time working with young people, trying to grow vegetables and writing strange magical stories.
